After a successfully opening race of the Isle of Man Easter Festival of Running 2026 we are looking forward to heading west today for the Full Factory Winnerswear Peel Hill Race. Please find below some important updates for all runners.
Today’s transport:
The coaches will leave from the war memorial on Douglas Promenade opposite the Villa Marina. Due to the large number of competitors travelling we have to do double run with the coaches to enable everyone
to get to the races on time. Two coaches will leave at 12 noon, five coaches will leave at 12.45 and two further coaches will leave at 1.15pm (the time of these depends on the first coaches leaving on time). Please be patient if this means a bit of hanging around.
There is only one coach back from Peel as most people run back and it will leave from the Creek at 16.30.
Public transport is operating as normal.
Run back to Douglas:
As many people run back to Douglas after the race on Saturday we would like you to ask everyone to keep to the Heritage trail/old railway line as much as possible. Wear something bright. Ensure you are back in Douglas before dark or use public transport. Please also respect the local farmland and livestock particularly as it is lambing season.
