Revised Good Friday 10k route announced

We are pleased to share with you the revised Isle of Man Easter Festival 10k course, which has now been measured and certified by UKA!

This update of the original course follows the announcement of redevelopment works taking place in Port Erin which means a small section of our original route is no longer viable.

The course has some subtle but very positive changes, notably to the start and finish location which has moved around 100m, allowing spectators to watch the start and finish from the same location. This will undoubtedly contribute further to the festival atmosphere that the race is well-known for 🎉

The majority of the course remains unchanged, taking runners once again out through Port Erin and then later along the spectacular Gansey to Port St Mary coastline.

Upon reaching the harbour area there is then the opportunity for a new loop around the lower part of Port St Mary taking in a number of new aspects around the historic village before rejoining the previous course halfway up the High Street.

With less than 100 days to go until the 2023 Festival, the excitement is certainly building.
